Patty divorced her husband Helvering in 1993 and married Peslis in August 1995. One month ago today I realized a lifelong dream and was able to play piano for this absolute legend. During her marriage, it was later revealed that Patty had an extramarital affair with her back up singer, Don Peslis, who was also married at the time. Additionally, Patty and her brothers joined their parents and performed together in a group titled The Ron Patty Family. However, Patty does refer to Don Peslis' ex-wife by her first name, Michelle.
